This jaw dropping home transformation catapulted a 1960's brick ranch into a modern farmhouse with open spaces inviting those who visit to relax and enjoy the country setting. It's not just about the new spaces and finishes, but the continued legacy for this family. The homeowner's father sawmilled the lumber for the original frame with his own hands, and that sturdy frame continues to stand strong and better than any modern day lumber available in the big box stores. And the mother's legacy continues on too for the family and friends that remember her unwavering love in canning, cooking and sharing with anyone who'd visit. Though the spaces have been updated, the memories of their love carries on as the refreshed version honors and commemorates their legacy for a new generation. It was truly an honor to have the opportunity to help create the vision and then execute the build for such an important project.
