Our client (an architect) and his wife had a vision to expand the footprint of their existing home, while creating inviting spaces toward the lake view side of their property. We collaborated to bring their vision to a reality from the foundation up. The expectation of the end product was for it to be seamless and cohesively blend into the existing home, just as if it were designed and constructed originally. The addition consisted of a new living area, opening up of the existing walls being the dining and living rooms, and a new covered screened porch. We were able to overcome the site logistical challenges and deliver a successful project.
